Professional Activities

Dr. Galen Kroeck, an industrial/organizational psychologist, is a Professor and Chairman of the Department of Management & International Business at Florida International University (FIU).  There he teaches a wide range of courses in human resources, management and organizational behavior at the undergraduate, MBA, Executive MBA, and the doctoral level. Professor Kroeck has held a number of academic positions in addition to his current position of Department Chair including Director of Doctoral Studies for the College of Business Administration and Chairman of the FIU Research Council.  He has worked in a consulting capacity with public and private organizations in the United States as well as numerous international companies, primarily in the areas of human resources, leadership and corporate organization.  Dr. Kroeck has served as a federal court expert witness in numerous discrimination cases. Professor Kroeck has published diverse articles in books, magazines and journals such as the Journal of Management, the Journal of Applied Psychology, the Journal of Business Ethics, Leadership Quarterly and the Journal of International Business Studies.  He has authored or co-authored three human resource management textbooks.
