Professional Activities

Dr. Wang joined the College of Business of Florida International University in August 2008. His primary research interest is in understanding the determinants and consequences of a firm's financial reporting quality and its information environment. This is an important area of capital markets research since financial reporting quality and information environment have the first order effects on resource allocation, stock price efficiency, and firm and country level economic growth.  His research also addresses issues related to capital market intermediates such as auditors, rating agencies, and financial analysts. His research has appeared or is forthcoming in the premier accounting journals such as Journal of Accounting and Public Policy, Accounting Horizons, Auditing: A Journal of Practice and Theory, Journal of Business Finance and Accounting, and Journal of Accounting, Auditing and  Finance.
